Having Wi-Fi at home is very advantageous, but there is the possibility of risks occurring if we don't follow certain precautions. We must always change the name and password of the Wi-Fi we have at home to lower the risk of having third parties accessing our network and, consequently, our browsing, which they can end up accessing personal data.
The National Cybersecurity Center (CNCS) recommends four protective measures to make your Wi-Fi at home safer:
1. Change your network and device access passwords.
2. Change your network name.
3. Choose the most secure cryptographic configuration.
4. Create a separate guest network.
