ChatGPT, the fastest-growing consumer application ever launched, reached 100 million active users within only two months of its release. Its tool’s advanced capabilities attract users, while its potential to disrupt many sectors represents a concern. ChatGPT implicates privacy risks which are being much less discussed. The article on the University of Sydney website states that “the problem is it’s fuelled by our personal data”.
