Keith Enright, Google’s Chief Privacy Officer, explains how the company is planning
to abide by the Global Cross-Border Privacy Rules System (CBPR).
He sees the CBPR System as “an important step towards enabling
continued, trusted data flows between participating jurisdictions.”. Enright also told that Google is
willing to certify to the CBPR system at the first opportunity and awaits the Global
CBPR Forum that will establish new requirements.
