Meta expands the use of cryptography across its services

Meta has revealed that its privacy-focused data lookup tool, which relies on cryptography, will now encompass passwords and various other services across different platforms. This technology, known as PDL, enables users to securely query a server-side dataset while preventing Meta from obtaining the query results, thus, increasing users’ privacy.
